How to be Saved |
God's Plan for Salvation...The Bible says there is only one way to HeavenJesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Good works cannot save you. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Here's what you must do1. Admit you are a sinner. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. 2. Repent and be willing to turn from sinJesus said: "I tell you, No: but, unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. 3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the deadFor God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners. Christ died for us. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 4. Pray and invite Jesus into your life to become your Lord and Savior. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Here is an example of what to pray. The prayer itself is not what saves you, but your belief and faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior. - amen If you prayed to invite Christ into your life as Lord and Savior please contact us so we can give you more information on where to go from here. call: (281) 218-4678 or email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Once you have received Christ you should1. Read your Bible daily to develop a more intimate relationship with Christ.Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. 2. Pray. Prayer is simply talking to God.Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:6) 3. Be baptized, worship, fellowship, and serveBe baptized, worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is taught and the Bible is the final authority. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 4. Share Christ with others. And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. |
